After reading the works from this unit, consider the monumental task Jefferson and his fellows were faced with in designing a new country.  Put yourself in the founding fathers’ footsteps, and create a presentation describing what you would have done the same and what you would have done differently in creating a document to serve as the basis for a new country.  Be sure to consider the circumstances that led to the American Revolution, and remember to read the list of grievances in the Declaration of Independence.  You must include specific reasons as to why you would or would not have done.

•You may use either PowerPoint or Prezi.

•You must have a minimum of 10-15 slides with substantial information. (In other words, you can’t just throw a picture on a slide and call it done.)

•You must include references to at least two major works from this unit; one must be the Declaration of Independence.
