Before you begin, you will want to complete the Quick Review Questions for Chapters 9 & 10. These activities are designed to ensure that you have a solid understanding of the key concepts. You can access the Quick Review Questions through the Multimedia Library link in the left-hand navigation menu, in your online classroom.

This week, you read about both interstate and asymmetric conflict. You were also able to watch several videos of each in the MyPoliSciLab Multimedia Library. For this discussion, you will be comparing and contrasting the characteristics of these two types of conflict. Using the information you gained from your text and other required materials, evaluate how interstate conflicts are in some ways both similar and different from asymmetric conflicts. Be sure to include specific, real world examples from both the videos, as well as from the News Review.
