Characteristics of Science

Baronet, A. M (2003). The impact of family relations on caregivers’ positive and negative appraisal of their caretaking activities. The Comprehensive Exam Rubric: Analysis and Critical Thinking. The eight characteristics of science were presented in Unit 1. They are:
•Empirical.
•Systematic.
•Theoretical.
•Provisional.
•Public.
•Objective.
•Self-reflective.
•Open-ended.
Review each of these characteristics and select four that you are interested in learning more about. In this discussion, you will analyze how each of these characteristics are demonstrated, or not demonstrated, in the Baronet study as explained in the article “The Impact of Family Relations on Caregivers’ Positive and Negative Appraisal of Their Caretaking Activities.” Use specific examples to substantiate your analysis.
