So, how does the author use the strategy (of your choice) to provide the specific message (regarding the topic of your choice) to the reader?

prove to your reader that the story sends a particular, specific message to the reader about a topic of your choice; analyze the author’s use of one (or two if there is a good, interpretive reason and if they are related) of the following strategies that we have discussed throughout the semester – imagery/symbolism, characterization, or setting.  So, how does the author use the strategy (of your choice) to provide the specific message (regarding the topic of your choice) to the reader?
