Assessing changes to cognitive and emotional mental workload using heart rate variability compared to traditional physiological parameters being Respiration Rate.
This is a dissertation for my final year project.
It is to explain about Heart Rate variability as better method to measure the body responses when a stressor is applied and measure emotional and mental workload compared to a traditional physiological parameter (Respiratory Rate).
I will need to explain about the experiment I performed using different types of stressors to measure their workload for phase 1 being baseline, stressor 1 (emotional) and stressor 2 (cognitive), for phase 2 it was baseline stress, driving on a driving simulator alone, driving plus the addition of cognitive stress (same used in phase 1) and habituation.
The dissertation consists in abstract, induction, method, results (which I will upload) and discussion.
