This opportunity is intended to expose you to business leaders in the Greater Seattle region and develop your ability to recognize how the frameworks, concepts and ideas raised in the formal readings and case discussions are embedded in the way business leaders think about and execute strategy in their day-to-day business operations. During the 2015 Fall quarter, there are two speaker series scheduled: Alan Mulally Former President & CEO of the Ford Motor Co. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 Pigott Auditorium, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Jamie Nordstrom President of Stores, Nordstrom Thursday, November 12, 2015 Pigott Auditorium, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. After you attend the speaker series, you will write a one double-spaced page memo of 1) the most interesting point of the talk and 2) how it relates to what we have discussed in class. Some Specifics/ Details to note: a) The memo is worth 10 points. b) Each student can participate only once. c) Deliverable: The memo should be submitted via Canvas within three days of the speaker series.
