Adolescence: Brain and Body – Self Directed learning module

  1. Get at least four sources of supplemental information about the brain and or the body during adolescence. Seek the following type of sources with at least one from each category (1 peer reviewed article, 1 popular movie or book, 1 app or website, and watch “Inside the Teenage Brain”).   2. Make a reference list of those four things. Use formatting of the APA 6th See the APA resources links for how to make a reference list using APA format.
  3. Write paper summarizing the state of your knowledge about the brain or body based on the sources you found (no replies or responses necessary). Give a critique about how the brain or body was represented in the popular movie or book you chose. How was the movie on target, how was it misleading based on the other information you found, and what you know from the text. Be sure to integrate all of your sources, and cite all of them in the text.
