Prepare a case study-type report on school libraries:
• Outline and evaluate the key functions of school libraries.
• Analyse the main changes and challenges to be faced, as well as their impact on the role of the information professional within that sector, including policy change, current developments in ICT and the otherwise changing, dynamic environment of the information worker.
• Whilst focusing on mainly one information sector in the main part of your report, in the concluding section you should also compare and contrast this with other information sectors where appropriate such as academic libraries, public libraries and, archival management or health information centeres . Where can we see similar issues and possible interrelationships?
